The interrobang (‽) is a special (and I mean very special) punctuation mark that can be used at the end of an exclamatory rhetorical question. With just a little nosing around, I couldn't find it in my symbols or special characters. I'm sure there's some fancy keystroke (but a simpler one on a Mac) for it, but I just copied and pasted the one above. The accepted way to get around that special character is, as you typed, "?!" I'd have to say, though, that the interrobang should be used as sparingly as, or even more sparingly than, the exclamation point. It can make the writing seem unprofessional, perhaps comical. Too many of those dudes, and you'll have readers tune out. But thanks for bringing it to attention!
